Our electrical team works across all industrial sectors, not just concrete batching. A plant goes down at 2am, a VSD fault, a blown control fuse, a sensor that fails on the night shift when the only people on site are operators. All Plant Engineering responds, diagnoses correctly the first time, and gets the plant running. The quality of that response is what turns a one-off emergency call into a maintenance contract. A generic electrician who shows up three hours later and replaces the obvious component without understanding why it failed doesn't deliver the same outcome.

Switchboard and MCC (Motor Control Centre) design and manufacture draws on the same in-house capability as our control system design division. Professionally designed, built in our workshop, tested before it leaves the building. Main switchboards, sub-boards, distribution boards, and full motor control centres with VSD integration, soft starters, DOL starters, and star-delta configurations. The same principle applies as with control panels: the designer and the builder are in the same building, which means problems get resolved at the design and build stage rather than on site.

Machinery safety upgrades are a compliance requirement that many plants defer until an incident forces the issue. All Plant Engineering works to AS4024, the Australian Machinery Safety standard, providing risk assessment, guarding interlock design, safety relay and safety PLC integration, and documentation packages for compliance audits. The goal is not to gold-plate a safety system but to implement what's appropriate for the hazard level, documented in a way that withstands regulatory scrutiny.

Calibration and testing services round out the maintenance offering: instrumentation calibration, thermographic scanning to identify hot spots before they become failures and protection relay testing to verify that relays will actually trip under the fault conditions they're specified for. These are the services that prevent breakdowns, and that give plant managers the documented evidence that their equipment is being maintained to a defensible standard.
